InnaMed is a medical device company that is currently developing an at-home blood test to make remote patient monitoring simple and easy. InnaMed was founded by Eshwar Inapuri and Anup Singh in 2016. Their vision is to eliminate the barriers to blood testing so it can be done at home and sent to patients’ doctors for evaluation.

Do?
InnaMed is developing an at-home blood testing device called the TeleLab. It combines microneedle blood collection, patented electrochemical blood analysis technology, and cloud-computing to provide laboratory-level blood testing within a home setting. TeleLab will first be used for heart failure patients who have been discharged so their physicians can monitor them remotely.
The TeleLab is designed to be simple to use. Patients place the cartridge on their arm, push the button for a painless blood draw, and then insert the cartridge into the reader. From there, the TeleLab assesses the sample for markers of heart failure, including creatinine, blood urea nitrogen, sodium, and potassium. It does so using the following technologies:
· Electrochemical Proximity Assay
· Electrochemical Nanostructure Assay
· Differential Circuit for Electrochemical Measurements
The TeleLab is still being developed. Prior to FDA clearance, InnaMed plans to partner with pharmaceutical companies and government agencies that are interested in using its products for clinical research studies. Their vision for the future is to provide their devices to hospitals and clinics to help as many patients as possible.
